Backyard play equipment safety guidelines are set by The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), working with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). You can learn more at astm.org and cpsc.gov. The CPSC recommends that you install resilient surfacing under and around your play system to protect children from falls to hard surfaces. Their Consumer Information Sheet is available online in the owner's manual that comes with our play systems.
